Ireland's 2026 Presidency of the Council of the EU

New EU rules will shape Ireland's space sector. Make sure they work in practice.

The EU Space Act, the Digital Networks Act and related proposals now in negotiation will change how you build, license, fund and sell space technology. Tell us where they help, where they hurt and what should change. Your evidence goes into a report for Irish government departments, regulators and EU stakeholders.

How it works

Skip anything outside your expertise. If you allow it, your answers are saved in this browser so you can finish later on the same device.

  1. 1

    Tell us who you are

Organisation type and role, so we can compare industry, research and public-sector views. No name needed.

  2. 2

Pick the rules that affect you

Choose from 7 EU policy areas. You only get questions on the ones you pick.

  3. 3

    Rate the impact

Each rule comes with a short extract from the official text and a plain-English summary. Rate how it affects you and what should change.

  4. 4

    Back it with evidence

Costs, delays, staff-days, lost bids, licensing experience. Concrete examples carry the most weight in the recommendations.

  5. 5

    Set your top priorities

The three issues that will most hold back or unlock growth in Ireland's space sector over the next five years.

  6. 6

    Decide how we credit you

Named, organisation only, anonymous, or confidential background. Leave an email only if you want the report or a workshop invite.

What happens next

We test the strongest evidence-backed themes at an online validation workshop, then publish the findings as Irish Space Industry Regulatory Priorities 2026, a report for Irish government departments, regulators, enterprise and research agencies, and EU stakeholders. Respondents can get an advance copy, a workshop invitation and credit as a contributor.
